My Chronicles #12

June 11 (Sat) - Slept in the office, ate at my favorite resto then went straight to Ever Gotesco to have my first Pap Smear in Medical City, Pasig Clinic. The doctor advised me that I have minor Cervicitis and I will be able to get the results after 10 working days. It's also Janel's Kumon day so I asked them to come over so Janel can play in McDonald's play pen.
Went home to rest for a while, but I was too anxious to print out a few work papers so I start trying to print out a few however I found out that my printer is only printing out cyan and yellow ink. Arrrgh. I'm gonna have to bring it to Sta. Lucia for repair. Too much hassle. Tsk tsk...
By evening, we went to my in-laws place to sleep over for travelling to Olongapo the next day.

June 12 (Sun) - My family and my in-laws left at about 7am. Stopped over at a gasoline shop by 8am and then I also bought 2 boxes of Bibingka from Bibingkinitan for us to eat along the road. We arrived at our destination at around 9am. I met a few my father-in-law's cousins and his nice aunt as well. We also wanted to see Tito Norbing however, we were told that he lives in the mountains were all their mangoes are planted. My husband along with his parents and aunt went to get him and we just waited at their home.

At about 3PM they were still on the road, Janel fell down the stairs from the 2nd floor :( . I was shivering with fear when I heard her say she fell down. I started running and saw the blood on her face. Thankful that she can talk, just carried her all the way to the wash room to look for something to clean up the blood from her face. She was horrified and kept on explaining that she was being careful but still fell down. Although according to her new playmates, she was right on top of the stairs and facing the other way when she lost her balance. I simply just cleaned up her face and put some Betadine over her wound. After cleaning I saw the small puncture that is responsible for the blood and some bruises on her face. They did not have a lot of cotton or any bandage so I had to ask someone to buy a gauze and adhesive for me. After crying for about 20 minutes, Janel fell asleep. When she woke up, everyone was already there and was definitely worried about her. She said it didn't hurt much anymore when she woke up. I asked her to explain how she fell and it was exactly how the children explained it. Well at least she learned something, she would learn to be more careful next time and would think twice about not facing the stairs whenever she steps down from upstairs.

June 13 (Mon) - It's Janel's first day of school for this year! Woke up at about 5:30AM and prepared her favorite soup with egg and fried the Saba Bananas we got from Olongapo. Woke Janel up at about 5:45, bathed and fed her then dressed her up with her old school uniform. Wasn't able to cover up her books yet and I start labeling her things just that morning. Thinking she is very late, went off to her school at about 10 minutes before 7, only to find out that her schedule changed and was moved to 8am. I just stayed with her until a few of her classmates showed up. Back at home, I started de-cluttering it since we left it with a whole lot of mess. Including my own hehe. I left at 10AM and went straight to the new salon in our place (Perfect Grooming) to have my pedicure (it's been more than three weeks since my last). At 11, went to pick up Janel from school. She seems to be enjoying playing with her new friend so we stayed for more than half an hour. The difficult part though is asking her to go home. She enjoyed it too much LOL. The tiring day did not make it difficult for me to fall asleep in the afternoon and helped me stay awake all night at work.

As for today, nothing much but work and my usual daily routine whenever I go home. Only thing I did different is I went to the bank to deposit some money to my friend's bank account for the load wallet she paid for me yesterday. Janel's school schedule this week is M-W-F, so she had a lot of time for rest and play. Can't cook for her tomorrow since I leave from work at 7am. Hopefully my husband would be able to handle waking up early.

Arrrgh was too lazy to cover up Janel's books, so I'm postponing it again for another day haha! She won't be using it yet anyway.

Off to work again tonight... :)
