My Chronicles # 16

Well finally found the time to write another post. Been busy watching Charmed until my husband deleted it. Arrrrgh. Anyway, our hard drive doesn't have enough space now I will just download it again when I have my own PC perhaps?! Err maybe after five years? Hopefully so. This coming week, we will be expecting a close relative coming home this weekend. The whole family will be there in Ali Mall. As for work, I'm pretty much enjoying it still. Thank God, I am still able to sell things even if I don't attempt to sell anything at all. I would say it's additional blessings coming from him. Thank you, Lord! I really like working for this new company so I don't think I would be leaving this one anytime soon. They will be adding a few things in our scope of support and I say... Bring it on! Hehe... I like learning about new things. Keeps me from being brain dead. It's the last day of work for the week again. New things will come on the next week. Hopefully, I get ano

My Chronicles #15

June 27 - Was finally able to bring our printer/scanner to Sta. Lucia (TCA) for repair. We found out that the printer head was out. Good thing I brought it before the warranty lapsed because it costs less than 2500. It's like I bought a whole new printer! We had to eat our lunch in the mall since Janel's school is finished at 11:00AM. The husband wen't home ahead of us so I had time to let the little kid play in her favorite play place in the mall. Her 30-minute play was cut short though after I found it she "poo-ed" and her uniform and everything she wore was a mess! Arrrgh... I was forced to buy a new dress and underwear for her. The attendant told me she didn't ask for assistance. Well that's my baby, always trying to be independent. June 29 - Janel attended her make-up kumon class since she wasn't able to attend her class last Saturday (June 25) due to the rain. Met up with hubby and her in Ever Gotesco and ate in my favorite restaurant! Mang Inasa

My Chronicles #14

Been lazy in posting a blog this past few days but I promised myself that I will continue posting so that it's easy for me to remember whatever has happened to me. One day last week, my daughter was telling me she was angry with her daddy and she won't tell me why. Then the next day, when I woke up from my day sleep at about 4PM. I saw her silently crying while eating her afternoon snack. I kept on asking her why she was crying, even asked her even her dad spanked her or if she was scolded. She said no. So I asked her to go upstairs and I told her we will play with her stuffed toys. She obviously didn't want to tell me so I had to reach out and figure out what she was feeling sad about. After a few tries, I finally guessed that the reason why she was feeling sad because her dad uninstalled one of the programs I downloaded and installed for her. It was an educational game. She really enjoyed the program however one of the punishments my husband did was removing it. My husban

My Chronicles #13

June 16 (Thu) - Janel's Kumon day. We didn't have to move it when we found out the change of schedule. June 17 (Fri) - Attended a Parent's Orientation (after work) at about 9AM. Had a chat with one of the parents of Janel's classmates. I was the one who brought Janel back home. She seems to be feeling cranky, probably due to waking up early. June 18 (Sat) - Went home early to wash my dirty pants. I also had to wake Janel early since we plan to wake up early next morning for our trip to Olongapo. I also planned to bring my Brother printer for repair, but then I canceled it because my husband volunteered to help me take it to the repair center on Monday and he just asked me to rest until we go to my in-law's house to sleep. June 19 - I wasn't able to sleep too well, but then I felt though that our trip to Olongapo got canceled so I got to sleep longer than it is expected. Too bad, we had to cancel it because of the heavy rains. The road can be too dangerous duri

My Chronicles #12

June 11 (Sat) - Slept in the office, ate at my favorite resto then went straight to Ever Gotesco to have my first Pap Smear in Medical City, Pasig Clinic. The doctor advised me that I have minor Cervicitis and I will be able to get the results after 10 working days. It's also Janel's Kumon day so I asked them to come over so Janel can play in McDonald's play pen. Went home to rest for a while, but I was too anxious to print out a few work papers so I start trying to print out a few however I found out that my printer is only printing out cyan and yellow ink. Arrrgh. I'm gonna have to bring it to Sta. Lucia for repair. Too much hassle. Tsk tsk... By evening, we went to my in-laws place to sleep over for travelling to Olongapo the next day. June 12 (Sun) - My family and my in-laws left at about 7am. Stopped over at a gasoline shop by 8am and then I also bought 2 boxes of Bibingka from Bibingkinitan for us to eat along the road. We arrived at our destination at around 9am.

My Chronicles #11

So far I'm getting the hang of our tools at work. Still trying to figure out though how I'm gonna lay out my windows. I was able to make a sale this morning at about 3am almost before getting off work. It's true, the sale would just come to you. I was almost thinking of giving up because it seemed that the work can be too challenging considering you still have to callback a customer after a few days to check if they have received what they bought or to update them of the delivery status of an order. Then there is setting up dispatches, arrrgh, but when I did it again it seemed simpler when I already knew what to do. So hopefully I can bear this up to at least 1 year. I also document one my calls that made my day less stressful . A lady at the onset of the call was too happy just by hearing my name. It went like this: Me: Thank you for calling. {},My name is Nellie...How may I help you today? Caller: What? your name is Nellie!? (laughing) That is my favorite name in the worl
